I have two double basses, one Hungarian, German style that originates from the early 20th Century, and a quite new French bass built by Joel Mentec. For those who find it important: I mainly play the German bow. In addition to the traditional ways of playing the bass, I'm also working with percussion techniques and different versions of "preparing" the instrument. The main task is to expand the variety of sounds created, but also to develop the physical possibilities as a player. My electronic set up is based around my ibook in combination with an m-audio 410 fw audio interface. I have also been working on a camera project that invites the audience to take a closer look at the playing.
